Before determining a fee, Diane Walton meets with the potential client in order to determine the extent of the legal services required and determines her fee on an individual basis. Some initial consultations are free and some require a fee. Please contact Walton Law Office to determine if your case requires a consultation fee. Initial consultation fees are waived if you decide to hire Walton Law Office.

Flat Fee: Walton Law Office charges a flat fee in most criminal defense matters, domestic violence restraining orders, traffic offenses, name changes , domestic partnership documents and in some family law cases.

Hourly Rate: Walton Law Office charges an hourly rate in some family law and civil cases. A retainer is usually required.

Contingency Fee: Walton Law Office would be paid based upon a percentage of what the client collects. A contingency fee is usually charged in personal injury cases, collections matters and equitable distribution cases.
